Saxon Mortgage taxes paid causes big IRS problems
This is just one of our articles referencing Saxon Mortgage complaints about mortgages, HAMP modifications, foreclosures, service, and more:
LD in Kentucky said: “I had my mortgage through Saxon Mortgage Services in 2008, when i filed my taxes, i used my info from Saxon on how much interest i paid, i got back a good amount on my refund, then 6 months later i recieved an other 1098 from Saxon, saying that they had made an error and that i didnt pay as much as they reported to me.
Then i had to re-do my taxes and now i owe the IRS and Kentucky state taxes almost $1000.00
I don’t understand, why i am responsible and did this happen to anyone else? Is there anything i can do about it? I dont have $1000.00 laying around and now i am being charged interest from the IRS. Please let me know what to do.”
