This is just one of our articles referencing Saxon Mortgage complaints about mortgages, HAMP modifications, foreclosures, service, and more:

A Saxon Mortgage customer in Virginia said: “I’d applied for the HAMP modification with SAXON in June 2009 and approved. My mortgage payment was reduce to $1,100. Required papework was submitted three times and finally Saxon said they had all documents. I was told to call Saxon once a week to find status of the modification, and I did call sometimes 3 to 4 times a week I contacted them. I call so muich because I can’t getting different answer from Saxon call center. Later, I received a call from Amanda A, she told me to only contact her from here on out.

The next few months Amanda A tell me that the modification assigned to underwriting, then its waiting to be assigned to underwriter and now it’s approve, foward to processor. Well on Feb 26, 2010 I was told that I was not qualified for the HAMP modification, but to continue to make the set payments. They said that the lawyers are talking to the investor. When I first start out with the HAMP I was not 30, 60 , 90 days late etc , now I am over $1,000’s of dollars behind in payment.

I was reassured that I will not lose my home because I made every payment that was required under the HAMP. I do not want to lose my home because I follower all terms under Saxon Mortgage modification program.”
