GM, location not given, said this: “I have been a Saxon client for 3.5 years. I had to deal with a lot of problems and mistakes on their part. Last was when they placed a property insurance on my account even though I was paying for it separately at 1/4 of their cost. I submitted faxes multiple times. I even had my insurer send them the information.

TB in Pennsylvania said: “I’ve been attempting to get a modification since Sept. 2008, with very little luck. I’ve been through the run around, lost papers, inaccurate information, yes um… no… um yes again. I’ve been in the HAMP program since I signed my papers back in July. Here we are in October. A full 4 months later with still no responses, denials or confirmations from Saxon.
BB in Georgia said: “I have been trying to get a loan modification from Saxon Mortgage for a year. I sent several loan applications and hardship letters. Saxon claims they lost them and I resent the information and I never heard from Saxon until today, October 19. Saxon Mortgage sent a letter stating they are starting forclosure procedure. I need help. Saxon practices unethical practices and misleading information. I cannot pay $1062 a month payment due to loss of income.”
RS in Washington said: “As many others have stated on this message board, I’m going through the HAMP program to keep my home. Saxon has lost my personally identifiable information including but not limited to – SSN, Birth date, employee ID, Tax (financial) records, complete salary information, etc. I’m so fed up and frustated with their constant mis-handling of my personal information that I’m talking to legal counsel. I don’t know what else to do. If anyone has an idea please let me know. niboreel@hotmail.com . Thanks for reading.”
A mIchigan resident alleges: “I am having work done on my home, new drywall, so we have moved out temporarily. Saxons thugs came and winterized the house on 10/9/09 and stole all of the tools! I sent their lawyer a letter stating work was being done on the property. The sale date was canceled because I qualify for a remod. How can they just break in and steal everything having been notified in writing that the home was still occupied? This has to be against the law!! What can I do?”

RR in California said: “To keep this short and sweet as possible. I have been in the modification process for 1 year now woth Saxon mortage. They sent me a modification agreement 6 months ago and I agreed to it. I signed it and gave them their requested “good faith” payment in the amount of $5000.00. I received my first statement with the incorrect amount to be paid on it. $1000.00 more then the negotiated amount.
Michele in Michigan said: “I have had Saxon since Novastar sold my mortgage around 3 yrs ago. I made all of my payments on time, until last March 08, when my income dropped. I called them BEFORE I was late with payments to see about getting some help (figured I would be PROACTIVE). They told me there was nothing they could do until I was 2 months behind. Well things got worse and I filed for bankruptcy including my mortgage. I stopped making my mortgage payments in April 08.
There is something wrong with Saxon Mortgage modification numbers. One customer reported that she inquired about a modification but did not elect to participate. Paperwork from Saxon Mortgage showed her in a modification program anyway.
Did you wonder how Saxon Mortgage was rated the best for mortgage modifications? Did you fail to get a mortgage modification while reading news reports about Saxon?
